WELCOME TO CLASSCEECHICAGO.COM

Class 'C' Entertainment is a special event planning company founded to create entertainment events for a previously under-served audience of LGBT Women of Color. We strive to provide a classy alternative to the mainstream amusement outlets among our peers. Our main focus is to promote visibility, ensure inclusion of and give attention to films written, produced and directed by lesbian filmmakers of color.

Our feature event is "Dinner & A Movie". An event featuring an LGBT film watched on a big screen while simultaneously savoring a sit-down dinner. With years of involvement in researching, screening and collecting these films, a lasting relationship with many of the filmmakers has been established. We have met and closely worked with almost all of these filmmakers to screen their films at previous "Dinner & A Movie" events.

Take a glance at a small portion of our collection below. And tell a friend to stop by and check out these films too. We want to connect with our amusement-craved, audience of LGBT Women of Color around the world.

Meanwhile, visit our UPCOMING EVENTS page. As the only entertainment company in the Chicago area that provides premier events for women who love women, we are constantly creating exciting events to premiere right here in Chicago. Be sure to check back later, and soon again after that; we're continually updating events.

  About Filmmakers & Films

LGBT WOMEN OF COLOR FILMMAKER PURPOSE

Every movie-maker has dreams of his or her film landing at Sundance or Cannes and instantly acquiring the enduring acclaim offered by such a fest. But for most movie-makers, that typically doesn't happen.

For black lesbian filmmakers, the concentration is to at least get into festivals that make certain their efforts are compensated. Payoffs come in the form of generous cash prizes, opportunities to hang out with industry moguls and networking for, recognition of and exposure for the film project they put limitless time into completing.
